Classic Movies • January 23

Join us in remembering Elvis Presley this month, in what would be his 85th birthday (January 8, 1935-August 16, 1977), as we watch his favorite movie KING CREOLE (1958). The film is about a rebellious young man who takes a job as a singer at the King Creole to make ends meet, attracting the unwanted attention of a local crime boss.

The film was directed by Michael Curtiz (CASABLANCA (1943)) and also stars Dolores Hart, O.S.B., Carolyn Jones, Walter Matthau, Dean Jagger, Jan Shepard, Vic Morrow and Paul Stewart. “Thank you! Thank you very much!”

The movie will be shown Thursday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the conference room.

Light refreshments will be served. Hosted by Vicki Ridenhour.
