Fitness & Sports Opportunities | Use of Activity Center
FUMC's Recreation Ministry offers a wide variety of activities for all ages and interests. FUMC participates in both Youth and Adult Church League Basketball and Adult Church Leage Softball. We currently offer Zumba classes on Tuesday and Friday afternoons and our gym is open for walking daily. We gather several times a year for church picnics with fun themes and participate in Downtown Jackson activities such as the Mardi Gras parade and Trunk or Treat. Our annual Advent Family night is a special evening of making gifts and ornaments as well as playing games and decorating (and eating) Christmas cookies! We gather for Wednesday Evening Fellowship to experience a wide variety of options. Past classes have included line and ball room dance, yoga, scrap booking, oil painting and jewelry making. If you have any questions about or suggestions for recreation opportunities or programming, please contact:
