As an outreach to members who are no longer able to come to church and for a way for them to still feel a connection to FUMC, this ministry provides free DVDs of each Sunday’s 11 a.m. Worship Service. Volunteers pick up DVDs at the church each week and deliver to those who are homebound, in assisted living or in nursing homes. DVDs are available for purchase to anyone at $5 each which helps to financially support this ministry. For more information, contact Bobbie Mays, 422-4002.
Communion is delivered monthly to those on our congregational care list. If you know of someone who would desire home communion, please call Tricia Odom, 422-4002.
Laurelwood Healthcare Center
This is a ministry of the senior adults of FUMC that meets once a week for Bible study, singing and fellowship time for the residents. The senior adults also host a Christmas party for the residents. For more information on how to become involved in this worthwhile outreach, call Pam Jaco, 422-4002.
Bimonthly, these daily devotion books are delivered to our homebound and those in assisted living and nursing homes. If you would like to volunteer to serve in this ministry, contact Tricia Odom, 422-4002.
