United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men exist to help men grow spiritually and to provide opportunities for fellowship and service as well. This group of men work to encourage one another, to mature as disciples and mentor one another with the benefit of wisdom and experience acquired along the way.

Each Tuesday morning at 7 AM, men gather in Clayton Hall Conference Room for a 45-minute Bible Study led by a layperson. However, on the last Tuesday of each month, a full breakfast is prepared (donations accepted for cost) and a guest speaker is invited to address the men on a topic of interest to the community, the mission field or the Church.

In the fall of the year, a Men’s fish fry (with all the “fixins”) is held at a farm just south of town and the families of the men are encouraged to attend.

Our men also participate in District and Conference events as well as special “as needed” projects such as home repair for the elderly and minor construction projects.
